UK TRAVEL NOTICE

ETA - Electronic Travel Authorization

Beginning January 8, 2025, any connecting or visiting passenger will need to get an “ETA” to visit the United Kingdom. If you are visiting for more than 6 months, you will need to apply for a Visa.

QUICK FACTS

  • To apply, you will need to upload a picture of your passport and a photo of your face.
  • Your ETA lasts for two years, and you can travel to the U.K. as many times as you want during that time.
  • If you get a new passport, you will need to get a new ETA.
  • Cost is approximately 10 British Pounds, per person.
  • It takes approximately 3 business days to receive a decision.
  • An ETA does not guarantee entry to the United Kingdom.

REAL ID NOTICE

Important Reminder: REAL ID Requirement Takes Effect May 7, 2025

Starting May 7, 2025, standard Washington State driver’s licenses will no longer be accepted for domestic air travel or entry to certain federal facilities. To fly within the U.S., you will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, an enhanced driver’s license, or another TSA-approved form of identification (such as a passport or military ID).
